Art & Personal

Over the years, my personal explorations have included blogging, digital art, photography, printmaking, ceramics, children’s doodles, and more. Most recently, I launched Quantrian: algorithmically-generated modern abstract art, now available as NFTs and prints.

As a college professor, I have taught graphic design, web design, programming, UX, and more to undergraduate students in the Digital Technology and Culture (DTC) Department at Washington State University. I’ve also included some of the positive feedback submitted anonymously by my students. I also spearheaded the DTC Expert Series with an array of industry experts, and launched open source projects (such as Debuggr, shown in Digital & Interactive) to assist with coding classes.

Finally, I play improv piano and write music, but usually only for friends and family. You can listen to the slow improvised blues track from my old portfolio on Soundcloud. Currently, an example of original music is the atmospheric techno track of the Sea Jellies video, although I also scored and edited the music for many of EngenderHealth’s videos (such as Every Minute Counts and All For Good).
