The tools and methods of digital graphic design are not native to the world of business communication, but are immigrants from the world of art. Applied to business, digital design creates maps to connect people and messages. Expressed in art, digital design creates journeys for people to explore their own messages. Or, possibly, this is a bunch of mellifluous nonsense co-opted from overwrought art critics.
