The RESPOND Project was a six-year global project managed by EngenderHealth<\/a> with funding from USAID. Its goal was to increase the use of family planning and reproductive health services across more than 20 countries.<\/p>

I designed and programmed the RESPOND web site and extranet using the XML\/XSL-based Cascade CMS. Then, at the end of the project, we collected, classified, and organized the materials produced by the project \u2014 hundreds of technical briefs, clinical resource, videos, etc. \u2014 into a Digital Archive<\/a> that was distributed via CD-ROM. Although it was HTML-based, it was specifically designed to run offline, since many of its potential users were in corners of the world that lacked reliable Internet access. The CD version featured a JavaScript-based search engine.<\/p>

I also worked on RESPOND\u2019s flagship software product, Reality Check Version 3<\/a>.
