Design and technology are part and parcel of my background. Imagine a painter mixing paint from oil and pigment, or a ceramicist mixing clay from powders and water. Both are skills I learned as an art major, and they taught me that understanding technology is a key part of mixing pixels. Blend together decades of corporate marketing and communication, graduate studies in data visualization, research in UI\/UX, a dozen computer languages, network and server management, plus experience in music and video production, and you\u2019ll begin to understand my unique background.<\/p>
