ASME \u2014\u00a0the American Society of Mechanical Engineers \u2014\u00a0supports several conferences and media information resources for the additive manufacturing (AM) and 3D printing industries, through its events and content company Metrix Connect. AM and 3D are particularly important to engineering in automotive, aerospace, medicine, energy, and many other industries, and Metrix has a family of sub-brands relevant to each: AM Automotive, AM Aerospace, AM Medicine, AM Energy, AM Industry Summit<\/a>, and more.<\/p>

In 2022, Metrix launched AM News Live<\/a>, an interactive talk show experience that provides “the latest in AM news, up-to-date analysis, and in-depth interviews” twice a month. Because the show covers information relevant to the AM sub-brands, the show’s own branding needed to simultaneously fit within the AM brand family while also demonstrating its role as a nexus between them.
